Does Lithium Conduct Electricity Very Well?

Since it is a metal, it should be able to conduct electricity. However, lithium reacts with the air very quickly, creating an oxide. The oxides do not conduct electricity, so overall, I guess it won't be the best element to use for conducting electricity.
