In fact the Modern atomic theory also describes the basic concepts of Dalton's atomic theory. However, there are few differences which are among the Dalton's atomic theory and the modern theory of atoms. Dalton presented that all matters are made up of atoms which are indivisible and indestructible while modern concepts suggest that atoms can be destroyed with nuclear explosions. In addition to that, atoms can be also divided in to subatomic particles, however, Dalton's theory did not mention that.
Dalton's atomic theory also showed that all atoms of the same element are identical in mass and properties. On the other hand modern atomic theory falsifies this concept because of the discovery of isotopes.
