The world's highest population density is found in the tiny country of Monaco. This country has a density of almost 43,000 people per square mile, within an area of 3/4 of a square mile (1.95 square kilometers (481.9 acres) and a total population of 32, 410. it is situated in Western Europe, along the French Riviera between the Mediterranean Sea and France. It is also the smallest French speaking country across the globe.

On the other hand, the most densely populated country is Bangladesh, with more than 2,200 people per square mile. Mongolia is the world's least compactly populated country with only 4.3 people per square mile and Australia the next with 6.4 people per square mile. The overall population density of the earth is about 105 people per square mile.
