A mind set is a set of assumptions held by a person or a group of people that guide their behavior based on prior behavior or choices.  Here are a couple of examples:

Mental mind sets are making a choice in your head to do something, set a goal or some sort of achievement to do something.  Mentally  you have to believe you can do it though to have a successful mind set
