Archaeology is a term that includes the study of ancient cultures and its evolution through various findings. The findings include everything that we find during excavation; be it architectural remains, biological remains or artifacts.
It is one of the most important branches of study that reveals our past and the past not only at one point of time but the evolutional trend also.
Archaeology also tells us that whatever we are doing today will have its repercussion in the future and our action will be judged by the future generations. And therefore teaches us to take care of our actions.
In most of the countries the government itself makes effort to set up a body that governs all the archaeological sites in that country and also take care that no one can damage any of the sites.
