Coster, acrylamide is actually quite dangerous as many laboratory studies have shown. It has been shown to induce cancer in animals exposed to high doses of it. People who are exposed to high amounts of the substance because of their occupation have been known to develop nervous disorders. However, its ability to cause cancer in humans in the amounts we consume on average is still debatable.
