Such movement occurs in the form of reflex action resulting due to the specific stimulus..
This happens when say you touched a hot object
your sensory cells, receptors sense this and pass the impulse on to the respective nerves and nerves to the spinal cord and to the medulla oblongata...
This directly directs the muscles to response means to move your hand away from the hot object...
It doed not involve the thinking procedure of the cerebrum..
