Chiwawa's are pretty small however it also depends on what kind of chiwawa, teacup, standard, etc., however generally full grown they are about a foot tall and less than 5 lbs.
I am not familiar with a Dotson if you mean a Dacheson however they are only slightly bigger when full grown and are longer than they are tall and can be slightly heavier due to their dense bone structure unless you have a minature.
