If something ticks me off, what I usually do to lower my levels of serotonin (serotonin is a brain chemical that causes aggression) is do arm exercises. I only do this when I'm in a room alone, but believe it or not, it significantly helps. After doing it for a while, I take a cold shower, then lay down in my bed and listen to music.
Although, if I became tensed in the public, there really isn't much for me to do, and I just try to let it go (doesn't really work that much).
I enjoy reading, listening to music, answering questions, talking to my man.....Yeah, especially that one!
Usually I take a walk, read a good book or listen to music.
I watch a good movie, listen to music or take a walk.
When I need a day of relaxation I head to the beach and bring along a really good book! Nothing beats it for me!!!
