Does yoga help you grow taller ? I am almost 19(in 3 month s)! and just started doing that .(I do it daily )! and do a lot of stretching exercise oh I am 5'8 and almost thin and can bend my body as well .!

Height is something that works so varied for each person & only the person's DNA can decide it. No relative, no pill or no yoga can be a certain way of predicting how tall a person will be.

But we can be helpful to the process  There's some things to do to be helpful not certain. Yoga can help the process but not every yoga move. There's sessions of "Height yoga" -some normal yoga moves including some other practices & what it do is to makes muscles fresh & increase the flexibility as what yoga suppose to do, but also the help of height yoga is pressuring muscles naturally to create more spaces to grow forward. Just another way of how basketball makes someone taller naturally. For a stronger hope for such process, a good nutrition & living program is necessarily. For example:

1.Plenty of sleep (8-10) hours.

2.Make your body gets enough protein & vitamin & calcium daily.

3.Serve your meal, each day at the same time, on time.

4.Do stretches before & after the bed.

5.Drink lots of water daily

6.Peas,turnips,broccoli,rhubarb,collard green, are part of products that helps the growth hormones in the most natural way.

Also I have no information about your status, all of them together can be helpful. Only if you didn't pass 25 & also if you have no health issues or if you have done nothing to stops you growing in early age. For example of that: Lifting heavy weights Gym under the age of 18-20.

No, it's not going to make you taller, I'm afraid. It makes your body a lot more limber and loose and also helps to make your mind and body become one and you'll understand things with your body more. But alas, you're not going to get any taller practicing yoga.

Although practicing yoga is a great way to remain flexible and to develop your inner core strength and balance, it won't help you to make you any taller.
