Not necessarily. Heart rate depends on ones history, physical condition plus many other factors that don't typically include gender. An over weight male may have an average of 80bpm while a fit female may have a rate 50bpm. Since everyone is different it's hard to make a gender comparison to come up with a specific set of what exactly is average for both groups.
On average, yes I knew that.
That's certainly been my experience.
