I do love the Bird of Paradise ! Planning on planting more when the drought is over. A very unique flower on them.
I live in az so I see all kinds of cactus flowers. We pick the fruit for a neighbor.
The Dandelion. They're very hardy, grow all over my lawn and you just can't kill them, so I've learned to accept and love them.
I like the Angel's Trumpet because of the aesthetics and the whole mystery surrounding its ego-altering extract. I find it fascinating, yet frightening.
I like Naked Ladies. No, not just because of the name. Lol. In spring leaves come up. Then appear to die. In mid to late summer a stem grows about 3 feet high and gets flowers on top, but there are no leaves. I wish I was able to show a picture. My wife has many planted around our house. By the way, if you google it, make sure you google naked lady flower.
Lilacs. Too bad they are only short lived when blooming.
Roses are my favorite flowers, I love all the color of them, and they smell good as well, I remember my parents planted them in their garden, they looked beautiful with several colors specially in the Spring and made me feel wonderful with all these roses.
My favorite is tulips! Sometimes after a long cold winter, it is nice to see a sign that spring is here and life goes on. 🌷
Stargazer Lillies. They smell up my whole house. I also grow Roses. My favorite is called Secret. It's a white/pink Rose.
Roses. All colors. They all are Beautiful and so is their smell.
Frangipanis! Because they have a clean, but not too clean, summery kind of beauty. They also remind me of my grandparent's gardens, and their house
.
Tulips! I love the color they bring and the way their stems will bend to reach the sunlight.
I also like hydrangeas and orchids.I love flowers - the gaudier the better. My favorite is the Copper Canyon Daisy.
I love the smell of the plant, and the yellow daisy-like flowers bloom in the fall (from about now through mid December). And the deer don't like them.
I love "Forget Me Not" flowers. When I was a child, my grandma gave me my own little plot to grow them in ... They made me happy :)
