Only if they don't do it the way Sharon Stone did it in Basic Instinct.

Why not? I guess it depends on the amount of cleavage displayed.

It's considered ladylike when a girl crosses her legs if she is wearing a skirt or dress, as she doesn't want to be perceived as "flashing" someone. If the girl is wearing a skirt or dress and wants to be modest, when she sits down, she would keep her knees together or cross her legs.

Hopefully, if she inadvertently "flashes" someone, she will be wearing underwear so that would be all that someone would see. Hope this answers your question.

I remember when, way back, it was one of the most improper thing for a young lady to do, cross her legs. It was a sign of being a loose woman. A proper young lady in those days would sit and keep her knees together.  Of course styles, morals and attitudes have changed over the years. The definition of a proper young lady has apparently changed also.

I don't think it matters. If she wants to cross her legs, go for it. It doesn't matter if it's ladylike or not and honestly it shouldn't make much of a difference.
