How do you get rid of the momentum after you jump off a moving vehicle. When I jump I always end up automatically running because of the momentum or fall down and roll. I don't want that to happen. What should I do?

You can't get rid of momentum.  If a car is going 35 mph and you are inside, you are going 35 mph as well.  You can't change that.  The only way to stop this would be by colliding with an object,( transferring kinetic energy to some broken bones probably) or through friction (AKA carpet burn).

You can't.  It would violate the laws of physics. Just be prepared to roll with it.
