I would look at www.cnet.com or PC World to get accurate and correct information about PC hardware. Both reliable and trusted sites.
Tom's Hardware is a great site that actually reports on testing new Technology.
However, since they get adds, they may not be completely unbiased.
The best unbiased reporting tool for ANY purchases is Consumer Reports. This is well worth the small price for admission. I am not kidding, since they do not get add money so they can stay unbiased, it costs to join the website, but the information is valuable and it is only around $30 for a year . . . So if you r making a sizable purchase OR you plan on making several in a given year . . It would be well wroth it to use the consumer tool. IF it still sounds pricey, go in with a couple of people for the year and split the cost.
