I love them. I often sit on my front porch during a thunder and lightning storm, just to watch.

I've always been afraid of thunderstorms. Especially when there's a lot of lighting and thunder. They scare me!

They don't bother me. I've heard much worse up close and real!

No, I enjoy a nice spring thunderstorm....now you add extreme wind, hail, extreme lighting...not so much!

when i lived in Saskatchewan for the few years i did, i've experienced some very wild lightning storms that you don't get on the west coast.

the whole entire night sky brightens up like the day, and the whole house shakes when a rumble happens. And don't get me started on the wind and rain.. They were fun but i prefer the tiny lightning showers on the coast.

Nope, I love them. We get a lot of thunderstorms here in Florida; I've seen lightning that was close to. I find it all very thrilling as long as I'm not outside at the time.

Nope, I find them fascinating. I'll even go out and look for the tornado when they issue a warning.

I really enjoy them. My mom was terrified of storms and conveyed that fear to her children. My dad, having served in the Korean War, was not.

When I was older and had my son, my husband's aunt babysat him until he was 14 months old. She was terrified of storms, of tornados, or heavy winds. She was telegraphing that fear to my son. She asked me if I was afraid of storms and I told her no - why would she teach her fear to my son? I was really glad to switch babysitters.

I live in Nebraska - land of unpredictable weather. Our job released us to the garage to wait out a possible tornado. My boss and I just left for the day - he was off to see if he could watch the tornado touch down and me - I went to my son's junior high school and waited through heavy winds and rain, reading a book and waiting for him to get out of school.
