Not unless someone buys me a ticket PDQ to somewhere in North America where it will happen.

Yes. My brother-in-law lives in the path of the total eclipse. I will drive up and stay with him and his wife. My husband doesn't want to go so he and the dogs will stay home.

Yes, we're having a viewing party on campus where I work.  There will be special telescopes and optical instruments available.

I won't be in the path for a total eclipse but I'll be watching a partial from where I live.

That's all I'll see unless I drive 100 miles north. Thinking about that! Hate going to Atlanta on a normal day.

I'd have to drive pretty far south to see the total.

Here in the NE we will get a diluted version but we have our glasses. I worry about kids who are in school not being properly supervised.

Our school system is holding all schools 45 mins and all elementary schools have been provided with proper glasses. Not sure about middle and high school.

We're right in the path so my company is providing glasses for everyone. The kids are going to Lincoln as that's more in a direct line for the eclipse.
