Science is science. What you hear on the news, blogs, forums, Facebook meme, conspiracy theorist, etc; is what the reporter or poster understands about the science.

Then you have your below average Joe, who typically only believes what he wants to. All of sudden he finds an article in the haystack that says something like... Let's say.... Global warming is a hoax used to sell solar panels. Or something that can't decide what the difference between weather and climate is.

It's loads more trustworthy than faith, but the point of science is to be ever-changing, to find "the truth". And even then, "the truth" depends on the circumstances around it. Science uses a lot of logic.

Science prides themselves on they know they know.

What they don't know or what they cannot figure out,

to them doesn't exist. The person who thinks they know

it all is a fool. Do the research yourself, or ASK..

Why do you keep asking the SAME question.

Yes, based on the technology and facts gathered thus far, anything that has REACHED the status of "Scientific Theory" can be trusted as true.

Until newer technology advances the ability to ask the question differently and test for new findings on the current "Scientific Theories" it stands a the test of peer reviews and the highest scrutiny.
