Since UPVC windows and doors are relatively low in cost and are quite resilient, I would say that they are worth every penny. You will not pay nearly as much for this material as would for wood and in some cases for aluminum, not to mention the fact that wood and aluminum are not very resilient to the elements and require a lot more maintenance and possibly replacement depending on the climate where you live.

Also, UPVC is excellent for noise reduction and for insulating your home. They are also recyclable and can be recycled up to 10 time, which makes them an excellent material for the environment due to their reusability. All in all, they are a great investment for your home but like most things, not all UPVC is designed the same. For example, you want to seek out suppliers of double glazed UPVC in order to maximize on all of the above benefits.
