Well, snooker is said to have been invented in 1875 when Colonel Sir Neville Francis Fitzgerald Chamberlain suggested adding colour balls to black pool. At that time, 'snooker' was army slang for a first-year cadet, and during the game a cadet missed a shot and Chamberlain yelled out " You are a regular snooker!.....
