Condenser and capacitor are the same. A dielectric material is placed between two conducting plates and forms a capacitor.It stores the electrical energy in static form.

Condenser and capacitor both are major difference of stoageing device
condenser store the energy in the form of heat
capacitor store the energy in the form of electrosatic filed

Yes, both are same as they do same work charge storing, but the condenser stores charge inside the container or volumetrically but capacitor stores charge on surface of plate or container, so now a days it is wrong to say that both are same...
