So, 3.14 * (3^2in) * 12in = 339.12 Cubic inches of water per foot of 6" pipe.
1 cubic inch = .0043 gallons of water
so, 339.12 in/ft * .0043 gal/in = 1.45 gallons of water per foot
therefore 1.45 g/ft * 12 ft. = 17.40 US Gallons of water (give or take a few tenths)
