I believe that people who do this, are very insecure about themselves and use others to make them feel superior. They say, "I am not like this person therefore I am much better". A person who is self confident and respectful, does not feel small and does not need to make someone else smaller. I agree with you that people should help and uplift those who are down, or needing help.

Not all.. I hate people who do this.. I think of them as someone jealous.. People who are unhappy of how their life turned out to be.. Unsatisfied people.. Sad people.. They hate their life so much that they make other people feel it too.. Thats how I see them.. People saying you can't do this and that because you lack this and that.. I strongly believe that most of them are failure, unhappy.. And just because they weren't able to do it.. They want you to fail as well.. Feel the loneliness they are suffering even if they seem to have it all.. =)

its not about having it all.. Its about being happy of what you have..
we are all products of our past.. Our failures mold as differently based on how mature we think.. Some people suppress these things unconsciously that they act it out immaturely.. People that find it hard to accept life failure.. One word : IMMATURE lol..

just my opinion =)

With a vicious unrestricted cyber world, a lack of compassion towards one another, deception, and selfishness seem to be the trend of today.

As parents we lead by example. If one grew up with a parent or friends who constantly degraded others, you likely find yourself thinking that degrading others is normal and acceptable behavior.

Laughing at or posting some clever remark on a social media site, bringing attention to another person's appearance or actions may make some people feel superior, but a persons's insecurity and lack of decency is transparent to those who find degrading another person revolting and immature.
