So this is a question I've been wondering for a while, "who is the REAL Dan Banks?"

I sat down with him and had a chat about his passions, love life, and interests. This is what he had to say:

Kass: So, how did you end up being a part of the Blurtit team?

Dan: Well, I graduated … Read more

As my bio bar already suggests, my favorite HBO series is Boardwalk Empire.

Why? Because it contains all the ingredients I love in a TV show (or entertainment in general):

Alcohol - based in prohibition Atlantic City, the entire show is based around the illegal liquor trade.

Awesome music - From Vince Giordano's … Read more

Thank you for the suggestions guys. Band of Brothers is the story of the American E-Company parachute regiment invasion during D-Day and subsequent push forward through France and Holland and into Germany. It is well researched with eye witnesses interviews mixed in with the story line which is the screenplay of the Band of Brothers … Read more

Living in Manchester but working in Liverpool I drove down the M62 motorway for an hour each way every day. One morning on the way to work there was a middle lane hogger, I overtook him and gave him "the stare" as I passed by. I was shocked to see that he didn't have his … Read more

The fault with the most recent one was that when you install wordpress, it creates an administrator account called, simply, admin. This cannot be changed. That's 50% of the job done for the hacker, well, botnet. One (username) of two (username and password) variables are set so it only needs to try various combinations or … Read more

I think that Facebook, rather than dying, is mutating.  How?  Well since it has lately focused a lot in improving the brand pages' experience, I think it's becoming more and more a promotional tool for brands.

I have a personal profile which I only use for sharing personal photos with family and friends but the engagement … Read more

Oasis easily. Maybe because I am a northerner and adopted Manc? Oasis wrote songs I could relate to from a working class, music loving background E.g. Cigs and alcohol and live forever. Whereas Blur seemed more middle class studenty, which although I have been to uni they didn't speak to me.

Personally, from experience, no. I don't think they can. I have been known to be wrong though (occasionally). We discussed at the start of the relationship that what the deal would be, company, doing stuff together when we were both off work and sleeping together. No (the new form of commitment) updating Facebook profile to … Read more

I think you're right Kass. If you are happy that upon your return she informed you that she had been sleeping with someone else then is an open relationship but you need to make sure that both you and her are happy with this arrangement. You may want to be checked periodically for sexually transmitted … Read more

I think it'd be considered cheating. There's no reason why you can't tell this girl about your plans to go abroad and meet other women - if she then chooses to stay with you despite this, then you wouldn't be cheating.

I can't see Facebook dying any time soon. I believe that the different social media outlets/networks have seen possible areas or avenues where Facebook wouldn't be able to fit the bill and decided to provide a different service. Fair play to them for doing so, many have succeeded .

I always see Facebook as my … Read more

The media is becoming increasingly powerful because of it's current set of reporters and the reporters are no longer the people sat behind the desks filing copy or the presenters on TV. The main reporters, the main people behind the media nowadays are the public. It cannot be understated how powerful the internet and in … Read more

I used freelancer.com a couple of years ago to try and get someone to set up a Wordpress site for me. It wasn't a great success. The bidders who won were just time wasters and in the end I gave up. I haven't tried the others mentioned above so I can't say anything positive or … Read more
