Rolly Pollys are a type of bug also known as Isopods, Pillbugs and Sow Bugs. Naturally, they live in the soil but can also be kept in a large, clear container or a shoe box. Make sure there are plenty of ventilation holes in the container to ensure there is plenty of oxygen for them … Read more

I've always had huge reading lists because of my studies and so don't get a lot of time to read for myself, however when I do get the occasional chance, I love to read fashion books. Biographies are my very favourite and I have recently enjoyed Coco Chanel: The life and the Legend. Others worth … Read more

I would agree that I am a little disappointed with the current series of Doctor Who.  I have always enjoyed the stories of what the doctor gets up to and out of, however there is a clear difference between the writers.  I have always enjoyed the episodes by Steven Moffat,

That's reassuring, I was begining to fell like a traitor. My husband says that by the 3rd or 4th episode with a new companion, the pace and chemistry should be established and flow. Gosh, the best album cover of all time? That's a toughie, so I may have to cheat and choose a top five, or maybe even ten!

It's a great question, though, as I really miss being able to see cover artwork on the scale of a 12" album cover - tiny CD covers just aren't … Read more

Absolutely Paul, and the pity is it really has no outstanding effects. We, the US, have such high healthcare costs, not because we are handing out free care. It's because the COST of the care is so high. You get minimal care for maximum price.

I used to love going to the library, in the days when you were expected to be quiet while you were there!

That's why I also loved academic libraries, with their little reading nooks, where you could stay tucked away in a corner - almost all night, if you chose, reading any of the thousands … Read more
