If you got a written letter from your church that you require discipline about a behavior pattern and might not be welcome back if you cannot correct it (like confessing to your pastor you are crushing on him) how would you respond?

Find a different church and different denomination because OMG!  Having a crush on anyone isnt wrong in anyway for one thing.  And a letter of discipline???!!!  Seriously?!  What crazy denom do you belong to??    I've grown up in various churches, mostly Southern Baptist and there were never 'letters of discipline'.  Get out of there … Read more

My first response would be to find another Church.  Your pastor is supposed to be in charge, be your advisor, your counsellor, your supporter, yet he knows nothing about human nature and how to handle a juvenille 'crush' .. Which would cause me to question his ability to do any of the above tasks.
