Molecules are formed when atoms of different elements share their electron to each other via covalent bonds e.g H2O, CO2 etc. The Particle itself is general term which can include atoms, molecules, ions, ionic substances etc. However the term particle should not be confused with atomic subparticles which is a different concept.
