Process of ovulation starts when many follicles start to grow under the influence of hormone called FSH secreted by pituitary gland. Out of these follicles one reaches its maximum size and become mature. This follicle rupture and egg is released. This egg is cached by the finger like projection of fallopian tubes and egg come in the fallopian tube. Finger like projection is called fimbia.
