Satellite is really just another name for moon, so our moon, and all other moons in orbit around planets, are called natural satellites.

Artificial satellites are those man-made objects which we launch into space for a variety of purposes (communications, weather forecasting, navigation, surveillance etc) and like the moon, go into orbit around the Earth, albeit at a much nearer distance.
