Biotic factors are the living, and abiotic factors are the non-living things. The living things need the non-living in order to stay alive. For example, snakes(biotic/living) need the soil(abiotic/non-living) to create a hole for them to live in.
They help each other by making each other survive!!
Together, biotic and abiotic factors determine the growth of an organism.
Biotic components (eg:human beings) are dependent on abiotic components (plants)
or biotic components are dependent on another biotic component which is dependent on abiotic component.
