Well I am doing a project for school on this and it has been proven that water will dissolve an aspirin faster than Sprite will.

There are certain different forms of pills that help to aid in that. Are you using gel tabs? I would suggest that you try rapid release tylenol. If you need aspirin then I would get uncoated. There is a reason they are the way they are because the medicine needs to be where it needs to be when it dissolves and absorbs, not in your throat. Good luck
