Well it sounds like your friend may be trying to help a little too much. That can be a very tough situation. People often act strange because they feel uncomfortable about who they are and their self worth. Have you talked to this lady about her taking over things? Has this brought any help to the situation? Often people will take over without even realizing that they have taken over the situation. Be your best to take this challenge without loosing that friendship that you have with that person.
