No the moon doesn't revolve around the sun. What actually happens is because the moon is a Satellite it orbits Earth and because Earth is a planet we orbit a star which is the sun. Therefore it seems to revolve around the sun but actually it's only orbiting Earth. If it was revolving around the sun then it orbit the sun in the same plane as all of the planets.
