Unicellular organisms can multiply quicker - and have less energy/resource demands.
Multicellular organisms are not as vunerable - they can afford for a few cells to die. They usually have a wider range of functions because of the aggregation of different types of cells.

some advantages would be:

-faster nourishment

-rapid reproduction

-less energy is needed fo functioning

a disadvantage would be the inability to adapt to different environments, a shorter lifespan, and a single cell makes it harder to function sperate needs essential for living
