Good points but what is truly unique is the fact that when it becomes a solid, ice, at just under 34 degrees I think, it actually gets less dense. This is not the case with other liquids. This is why ice forms first on the top of lakes in Winter and works its way down. They theorize this was essential to life getting started in H2O since it insulated the lower levels if the temp was not too cold. There are other examples too. I think NH3 may have the same properties but at much lower temps and there may be ammonia lakes on other planets. I did a paper on this 20 years ago. I can get more info if needed, I still have it.

H20 commonly known as water is a universal solvent, and amphoteric substance. All cells of the human body must have water for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to transporting into cells nutrients and transporting out of the cells metabolic waste. Other reasons we (humans) must have water is related to homeostasis,  we must maintain a relatively constant temperature or we would either freeze to death or die of heat stroke. As related to cellular mechanics cells of any live organic matter must have water to maintain cellular metabolism as mentioned above as well as to maintain morphology (the basic shapte) of the cell's of the body.

Water is the best thing that survives us.. Even without food, we can survive with it.. In the past, you can see thousands of people lining up on the well's line just to get water.. You can feel the preciousness in the water if you see how eager people are to get water =)
