Density-dependent inhibition is a phenomenon in which cells stop dividing based on their open space. For example lets say we culture animal cell and we put it in the plate. The cell continue till the surface of the plate filled up.so when they start touching each other , because there is no space, they stop dividing. That is called density-dependent inhibition.
