Inflation Rates are known to be based on three factors that include: 1. Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) 2. Consumer Price Index (CPI) 3. Wholesale Price Index (WPI)
For the year 2007 the SPI is 10.82, CPI is 7.71 and WPI is 6.94.
The general inflation measured by CPI is observed to have grown for about 11.25% this year .
For information on previous year’s record of the inflation rate in Pakistan
