in metallic bonding, there is a cloud of charges surrounding each atom's nucleus, charges are actually owing to the electrons, and these electrons are since moving free so conduct electricity......

simply metals conduct heat and electricity due to moving electrons and electrolyte conduct heat and electricity due to moving ions..
