Herbicides would be most useful in combating?
Herbicide is for getting rid of a unwanted species of plant or should I say growth on a plant. And believe it or not ripley some grasses can be considered a nuisance/weed.

When were talking about herbicides I'm guessing your trying to get rid of weeds and or grass.
There is many items to achieve this. I've used Monterey, Spectricide, and Ortho herbicides with great results.
