On Map Quest Map, How Do I Measure In Lineal Feet The Distance Between Two Locations On A Map Quest Map Directly As The Crow Flies In A Straight Line?

I don't have the answer, I'am asking anyone learned scholar please reply with a way to figure it our on the computer "Map Quest"  areas that anyone may look at.  I want to measure distances on the streets for county Zoning ordinances.  Example how far away is a liquor store, or adult book store from a elementary school or childrens day care center, etc., example.  Thank you,
