Many girls sink to the low expectations of those around them. Many give up trying to get satisfactory explanations from teachers who give more attention to boys. Some decide friends or popularity are more important than good grades. A few take their cues about what subjects are important from their parents or other adult women in their lives. A lot are not given the blocks and cards and marbles to play with to help develop math skills.
I'm good at both. I'm in 6th grade and advanced in math. I have the highest score for my grade in science. I know a lot of people who are great at both, also. Maybe you just have a lot of people who are not so great at these subjects to notice people who are.
That's not true because I'm pretty smart and I'm a girl. I'm like the 3rd smartest in my class and most of the people that get good marks too are girls. The least smartest person in my class is a boy.
It really all depends on your classmates and who's in your class.

Why are you stereotyping?
I don't think it depends on sex/ gender. I think it depends on the person, it's just their weakness.
I am in senior years and i am very good at both science and maths as are many of the girls in my classes.
