What Affect Does Age Have On Reaction Time?

As you get older, your muscle movement part of reaction time gets slower, but your initial reaction time, the brain acknowledging the visual and deciding what to do is the same as younger individuals.  I know because I asked this question.

You reaction time will increase from birth tp your 20's and 30's and your reaction slows down during your 40's and above

As you grow older your reflexes slow making your reaction time increase.

But I'm sure that when your older your reaction slows down......

I think that your reaction time is best when you are younger and when your in your 20's, and that it starts to slow down when you get older but if you stay alert and exercise regularly you'll have a better reaction time.That's just what I think.
