Scientific innovation in the hands of politicians or profiteers could do unlimited damage -- and that could range from the devastation caused even by testing nuclear weapons to carelessly marketed medications. (If you don't think so, Google thalidomide.)

But an intriguing point was made in The Girl in the Spider's Web, Book IV in the Lisbeth Salander/Millennium series. What happens when we manage to create a computer so smart that it is actually more intelligent than humans? High artificial intelligence working at computer speed may decide to move in directions that are not beneficial to our species. That's in the realm of fantasy, of course, but just suppose...

Be afraid. Be very afraid...

Everything in this world has two type of usage & there's always two sides.

1.Positive 2.Negative / 1.Good 2.Bad / 1.Light 2.Dark /

Science is a topic, category & a foundation of knowledge that human took help to seek, search, discover, understand, analyse, solve, build, help, & progress.

It been founded & it's exist, now we can take the best out of it & help, or we can use it to harm. So far, science helped humanity more than harming. However, it's good to remember, anything can be harmful at the end, it's just depends on ourselves that how we use it.

You know, something like an "egg' exist, you can use it as your meal, you gain benefit ,energy & makes it joyful, or you can blow it on someone's head & makes it smelly, nasty, dirty break someone's heart & harm. Like the internet, sometimes people criticize the net, if we use the net in a right way, it's powerfully useful in human's life.

But as fast as something get created & it come to be existed now, it might slip into wrong hands. & then surely those wrong hands might use it for negative purposes. So it depends which hand reach the enough power to make decisive choices about the usage & actions of science.  In general, science always helped humanity & really i don't see a need to name a "billion" of helps & progresses that it caused for human's life on earth.
