We have to be to manage ourselves in a right-hand dominated world. So in a sense...yes.

I totally agree ! I remember teachers in school wanting me to write right handed. I learned and can write left or right now ! Yeah, we're superior !

I understand that everyone is born right-handed, and only the most superior can overcome that.

Interesting origin of the word ambidextrous---it comes from the concept of having two right hands, which indicates there was always was a deference toward right handed people.

Ambidextrous: mid 17th century: from late Latin ambidexter (from Latin ambi- ‘on both sides’ + dexter ‘right-handed’) + -ous.

When I was in HS, I wanted to impress my class mates, so one year I spent the entire summer practicing batting left handed. When in PE (Phis-Ed to some of you), I decided to bat left handed, the entire out field moved in and were smirking at my attempt at left handed batting. On the first pitch I batted it out of the field and into tall grass. They never found the ball. Needless to say they never moved in again. I wonder if a lefty would think of that? LMAO

But onto your Q, My brother is left handed and is a complete idiot, so no left handed is not a precept to being smarter or more cleaver then right handedness.

No :/  cos I said so. I could ramble on here about why and my ex who is left handed  and that I'm right handed but I won't. So no .

I really don't think "handedness" matters much. I know clever and intelligent lefties as well as righties.....either works well! Lol!

I'm right-handed and I'm a klutz. Go figure. :(

Of course, the word "sinister" originally meant left-handed indicating that although lefties might well be smarter it could be a mistake to trust them. >:-)

There are a few lefties in my family, and a few ambidextrous as well. I can't say I have seen anything that makes them more clever than other family members. The only thing I can think of that is effects is where people sit at dinner.
