All though left handed people MAY not be smarter than right handed folks, NUMEROUS studies have shown that left handers use both hemispheres of the brain (more so than righties), thus making it easier for them to comprehend situations with multiple stimuli. Do the research, and you will find the same. So therefore, if lefties can better understand, and react more quickly to such things, it gives them an upper hand (pun!), perhaps making them seem more intelligent. However, studies have also shown that lefties have poor memories.

I'm left handed and as a kid my teacher thought I was a genius! But then again my teacher was a nutcase.
About left handed people having poor memories, its not really true. I'm left handed and I have an excellent memory. I have noticed that I'm more creativly inclined than many other people. I also know other lefties who are not all that smart, so its arguable.
What do you mean by "iteratively" smarter? If by iteratively you mean: * it·er·a·tive: Involving repetition: As a : Expressing repetition of a verbal action b : Relating to or being iteration of an operation or procedure

If you are wondering whether left handed people are innately more intelligent (keeping in mind that words like "smart" and "intelligent" are subjective terms), then that is a legitimate question and one in which researchers are still exploring. Here are some interesting and more credible articles I have come across that discuss recent studies involving left-handed versus right-handed cognition:

No their no smarter than right handed people , your question was a good question and it got me thinking , I remember as a child someone told me a boy was left handed and then I was scared of him , and I had no idea what that meant back then - LOL
There is a balance in the universe and being left or right handed is part of that balance.when are life forms on earth going to figure out that they are just a tiny speck in the infinitely surrounding space and everything has a purpose or reason of why and when, but as long as human beings are caught up in the social circus of trivial existence they will never comprehend the whole totality of the situation, and just how temporary the physically measurable aspect of annotated observations can so coyly elude us.
Yes, I am very smart and I'm lefty
No not really where did you hear this.. Thats not proven and it is really hard to believe.. Take care.
There is no way everyone is created the same I tell you this from my heart you
From your question, I deduce that you are left-handed since you are iteratively smarter than right-handed persons.
