Archibald Alexander was a well known professor and American Presbyterian Theologian who taught at the Princeton Theological Seminary. He was the first principal of this institute and remained the principal for 27 years.
He was a scholar but he did not invent anything. He was raised under the ministry of Presbyterian minster William Graham. He became a tutor at the age of 17 in General John Posey's family.He was influenced by the great revival and turned towards the study of divinity.
He preached for 7 years as an itinerant pastor in Charlotte and Prince Edward countries. He was appointed as President of Hampden Sydney College. He was appointed as the first professor of Princeton Theological Seminary.
