Fluorine is an important element of the periodic table. It is very reactive by nature therefore, it is used in the rocket fuels. It is used for facilitating the burning of other materials. There are various kinds of fluorine compounds which are produced from fluorine like it is used in making tooth pastes. Some other compounds of fluorine are used for cooling and refrigeration. Moreover, the aerosol sprays, cleaning agents and complex polymers are also produced by using fluorine.

Fluorine is used in dental purposes like fluorides that help prevent tooth decay. It is also used in toothpaste. It's used in some public water facilities so that the people don't suffer tooth decay. It is also used in rocket fuels; it helps other materials to burn like oxygen does. Fluorides (compound of fluorine) are used to make molten metals flow. Hope this helps!

Fluorine is used in highly flammable cow manure. It is highly toxic to the sense of smell.  If one were to sniff at fluorine they would never smell again.  And would slowly die.
