Reforestation is the process in which areas that have been depleted of the plants and trees are re cultivated and the trees and plants that are native to that area are planted there. It is similar to afforestation. The areas that once contained trees/plants but is now depleted due to cutting down trees is re created. This is done in a way so as to match the natural vegetation and native species are planted. This process can also occur naturally but this takes a lot of time and isolation of that place. It is also carried out artificially by people.
