Why study cultural anthropology?
Cultural anthropologists are those who earn a living in the field of cultural anthropology, which was developed in the United States of America. Cultural anthropology is one of the four fields of anthropology. Anthropology is the subject which deals with the holistic study of humanity.
Cultural anthropology is defined as that branch of anthropology which has developed and promoted culture as a scientific concept which is meaningful and attempts to study culture in the broader sense of the term. It is also used to refer to that branch of anthropology which studies the cultural variations among human beings.
As an anthropological concept, the concept of culture is broadly explained as that concept which reflects, in part, the reaction against the discourses which were given by Western cultural anthropologists in previous years, which were based on an opposition between the culture to which human beings belonged and the nature of the human beings.
