Well all of use keeps renewing itself thats why we age as the new cells are not quite a good copy as the one before it. Ear and nose cartilage does grow longer as you see on an old gent that his ears and tip of the nose has become slightly longer with age.

Because the ears and nose are made of cartilage which continues to grow after bone has stopped growing.
